Word in the ABAP programming language. ABAP words are the tokens of an ABAP statement and express its semantics. In ABAP statements, ABAP words function as ABAP keywords or as additions. An individual ABAP word can be either a keyword or an addition. Combinations of ABAP words form ABAP language elements or ABAP language element additions .
